In keeping with the musical theme today, here's a very rough sketch inspired by Led Zeppelin. It's barely more than a few lines, but for some reason I really like this one. It might be worth working up into a full color piece at some point...we'll see.
Wow. I just realized how long it's been since I posted here. This is no way to run a ship. Although to speak in my defense, I've been busy. With changes at work, and my attempts at selling my comic collection, I haven't had the time I need to devote to color work.
So, for the time being, I think I'm just going to start publishing some black and white sketches, if that's OK by you (hello? Anyone out there?). I'll post more color pieces as I get them done, whenever that might be.
Let's start off with this doodle I did of a blues man, inspired by listening to B.B. King's "Lucille" and "The Thrill is Gone".
